Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply written instructions, including work procedures, product labels, material safety data sheets, and equipment instruction manuals.
• Two years of experience in a custodial, mechanical trade or related area, preferred.
• Physically able to perform the essential functions, including lifting up to 50 pounds and use of ladders and lifts.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Direct and supervise custodial staff and follow up on their work.
• Inspect work and enforce safety rules and standards.
• Prepare for special events and maintain operating records.
