Job summary

SSC Services for Education, a member of Compass Group, is hiring for a full-time janitor at Canton High School in Canton, TX. Hours are typically Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling. Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required. We offer training, benefits, and same-day pay.

Location: Canton High School, 1110 West Highway 243, Canton, TX 75103. Online applications accepted only. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties including floors, rugs, walls, glass, and rubbish.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following procedures.
• Move and place furniture for cleaning; return to proper placement.
• Sanitize surfaces and follow eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Clean walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning; take initiative to complete tasks.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor and in accordance with guidelines.
