Our educational program is designed for students who suffer from anxiety, school avoidance, poor social skills, mood disorders and other socio-emotional concerns that interrupt their ability to fully function in a traditional academic setting. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Evening School Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial and residential settings, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.


• Maintain floors through various methods such as buffing, waxing, and stripping to ensure they are clean and presentable.


• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.


• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly.


• Assist with industrial cleaning projects as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times.


• Provide porter services by transporting items as required within the facility.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.


• Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.


• Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures is an asset.


• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.


• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
