ABM Industries is seeking a reliable School Custodian to perform general cleaning duties at K-12 and higher education campuses. Pay is $14/hr with specific offers varying based on experience and location.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package and is veteran friendly. This role welcomes applicants entering the workforce or returning with limited experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned area, which may include classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, office, and stairways.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas.
• Regularly check trash receptacles, emptying as needed, in all designated areas.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify lead cleaner or manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
