Job summary

Tooele County School District is seeking a part-time Custodian to perform daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, gym, restrooms and grounds, ensuring a sanitary and safe environment for students, staff and visitors.

Under supervision, you will maintain HVAC preventative maintenance, assist with fault reporting, arrange furniture for meetings, and work with district staff and contractors to improve the work environment; a valid Utah driver license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Utah Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned school facilities (classrooms, offices, gym, restrooms, grounds) to maintain a sanitary, safe environment.
• Delivers items and materials to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Informs staff and supervisor about activities, safety and maintenance needs.
• Inspects facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness and identify required repairs.
• Maintains preventative maintenance for HVAC equipment (filters, belts, bulbs).
• Responds to safety or operational concerns to resolve issues and maintain a functioning environment.
• Arranges furniture and equipment for meetings and events.
• Works with district staff, vendors, and contractors to improve the work environment.
