Job summary

Pickens Liberty Primary School in Liberty, SC is seeking a Custodian to perform custodial and grounds-keeping tasks. The role runs 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, for 230 days, with a temporary period throughKelly Staffing and potential full-time employment with benefits.

Starting pay is $14 per hour, with a higher rate of $15 after the trial period. The position requires lifting up to 100 pounds, standing for long periods and operating cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Bronze level WorkKeys/WIN Assessment.
• Must be physically able to operate cleaning equipment and perform manual tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs custodial, maintenance and grounds-keeping tasks to provide a clean, safe environment.
• Cleans restrooms, hallways, classrooms, offices, cafeteria and other areas; empties trash.
• Operates floor buffers, vacuums, carpet cleaners and lawn equipment; sets up rooms for events.
• Remains on call for emergency building needs and unlocks/secures doors as required.
• Performs light maintenance and minor repairs; follows safety regulations.
