Job summary

CAPCC in the United States is seeking a dedicated custodian/maintenance worker to help maintain a safe, clean facility for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include supervising children during activities, sweeping and sanitizing floors, cleaning restrooms, painting, and basic repairs. The role requires physical stamina, a valid PA driver’s license, and the ability to obtain background clearances and vaccinations as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Basic understanding of custodial duties.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all children are chaperoned and never left unattended.
• Sweeps, cleans floors, stairs, landings daily.
• Sanitizes dining/kitchen areas daily.
• Washes walls and cleans restrooms daily.
• Performs minor repairs and light maintenance as needed.
• Disposes of garbage daily and maintains clean grounds.
• Removes snow/ice from sidewalks in front and rear of buildings.
