Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a General Cleaner for Minooka High School in Minooka, IL. This full-time role covers 1st and 2nd shifts and requires reliability, team collaboration, and attention to detail to maintain a clean educational environment.

The position includes routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, restroom sanitation, and trash removal. A background check and fingerprinting are required as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Must pass background check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, and carpet extraction.
• Strip and wax floors, remove trash, and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
• Polish surfaces, wash windows, and clean desks, walls, furniture and fixtures.
• Assist custodial supervisor with assigned tasks and responsibilities.
