Job summary

Campus Services Group is seeking a School Custodian in Wayne, PA, with evening hours Mon-Fri 2:30-10:30pm. You will maintain a clean and safe school environment, working with staff and students.

Starting pay is USD 18 per hour with benefits such as telemedicine, prescription discounts, EAP, EarnedIt, workplace banking, training, and career development. Prior custodial experience preferred; high school diploma preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lb; COVID vaccination per policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Able to stand and walk 6-8 hours daily.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks within assigned areas to meet quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Use protective gear during all cleaning functions.
• Complete cleaning assignments on schedule.
• Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisors.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors in various areas, including classrooms and common spaces.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and perform related duties as assigned.
• Respond promptly to paging system alerts and customer requests.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.

Campus Services Group (CSG) is looking for a dedicated School Custodian to maintain a clean and safe environment within our facilities. In this role, you’ll work closely with staff and students, ensuring the school meets high cleanliness standards. If you’re dedicated to providing great service and maintaining a tidy environment, we’d love to have you on our team!

Pay Rate

Starting from USD $18.00/Hr.

• Must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.

• Must provide a criminal background check.
