Job summary

Campus Services Group (CSG) is hiring a School Custodian to maintain a clean and safe school environment at Villanova, PA. You will work closely with staff and students to uphold high cleanliness standards and respond promptly to needs.

Hours are Mon-Fri, 2:30–10:30 PM. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour. Benefits include telemedicine, prescription discounts, employee assistance, EarnedIt access, and more depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a school custodial/janitorial role preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance as required.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks to meet quality and safety standards.
• Use protective gear during cleaning functions.
• Complete assignments on schedule.
• Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions.
• Dust and damp mop floors in classrooms and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Remove trash and perform related duties.
• Respond to paging system alerts and customer requests.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks within assigned areas to meet quality standards and safety guidelines.

• Complete cleaning assignments on schedule.

• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and perform related duties as assigned.

• Follow infection control and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial/janitorial experience in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-10 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.

• Must provide a criminal background check.
