Forest Lake Area School District is seeking reliable General Custodians and Substitute Custodians to join our facilities team. Full-time openings and substitute positions are available across multiple locations in Forest Lake, MN.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks, restock restrooms, maintain classrooms, and assist with facility upkeep while ensuring a safe environment for students, staff, and the community.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Special Boiler License preferred or ability to obtain within one year of hire (full-time positions).
• Ability to lift, move, and carry equipment and supplies as required.
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and interpersonal skills.
• Successful completion of background check.

Aufgaben

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and trash/recycling.
• Clean and restock restrooms; wipe surfaces, sinks, glass, vacuum carpets, and scrub floors.
• Maintain custodial equipment and storage areas in safe condition.
• Complete minor repairs and assist with general facility upkeep.
• Set up and move equipment to support school activities.
• Secure the building at end of shift and set alarms.
• Work independently and as part of a team with staff, students, and the public.
• Demonstrate reliability, strong attendance, and consistent work ethic.

Forest Lake Area School District is seeking reliable and motivated General Custodians and Substitute Custodians to join our facilities team. We have three full-time openings along with substitute positions. These positions play a key role in providing students, staff, and community members with a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Your Role Will Include:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and collecting trash/recycling.
• Clean and restock restrooms; maintain classrooms by wiping surfaces, cleaning sinks and glass, vacuuming carpets, and scrubbing hard floors.
• Maintain custodial equipment and storage areas in safe working condition.
• Complete minor repairs and assist with general facility upkeep.
• Support school activities by setting up and moving equipment as needed.
• Secure the building at the end of the shift, including setting alarms.
• Work independently and as part of a team while maintaining positive interactions with staff, students, and the public.
• Demonstrate reliability, strong attendance, and consistent work ethic.

Salary and Benefits:

• Full-Time General Custodian: $17.98 to $20.48 per hour + $0.55 shift differential.
• Full-Time Benefits: Dental, life insurance, paid holidays, and medical insurance.
• Substitute Custodian: $14.00 per hour.

Location & Shift Times:

• Columbus Elementary, FT, Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.
• Forest Lake Senior High School, FT, Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
• Forest Lake Education Center, FT, Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
• Substitute Custodian, District Wide, evening work; start time and work hours can change to fit schedule.
