Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or building maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment, including vacuums and floor-cleaning machines.

• Perform minor authorized maintenance tasks and basic facility repairs when trained.
• Assist with room setups, cleaning, and preparations for school events and meetings.
• Support seasonal cleaning projects and school preparation before and after the academic year.
• Properly store and secure cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Assist with securing designated building areas according to school procedures.
• Maintain cleaning records and report supply needs when required.
• Work collaboratively with school administration and staff to maintain a clean and organized campus.
• Perform other custodial and facility-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Custodial experience in a school, childcare facility, or similar environment.
• Experience operating commercial cleaning and floor-maintenance equipment.
• Familiarity with sanitation procedures, workplace safety, and chemical storage.
• Basic building maintenance and minor repair skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to unexpected facility needs.
