Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor at New London High School, 901 West Washington Street, New London, WI 54961. The role oversees custodial staff during a shift and ensures safety, quality, and customer service standards are met.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with summer and school year shifts; prior custodial and/or supervisory experience is preferred. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $17.50 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial and/or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage a shift and lead a team.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Providing training and creating work schedules for staff.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
