Job summary

Jefferson Parish Schools at LIVAUDAIS MIDDLE in Terrytown, LA seeks a Custodial Helper for a 4-hour daily position, 5 days a week. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of halls, entrances, walls, and windows, checking dressing rooms, and supporting maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write and to comprehend instructions on operation of equipment and on the use of chemicals used in cleaning operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of halls and entrances.
• Cleans walls and windows.
• Check dressing rooms.
• Cleans classroom units as specified in accordance with working schedule and minimum cleaning schedule specific school needs.
• Be responsive to coordinator, plant manager and/or assistant custodian where appropriate.
• Perform all other duties as required by the plant manager or Coordinator of Maintenance & Custodial Services.
