You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, and able to work outdoors in various weather. Background check and drug screen will be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with residents, parents, and children professionally.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to school-aged children and pedestrians at designated crossing locations during assigned times.
• Maintain a visible and attentive presence to support orderly crossing activity before and after school hours.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with children, parents, and community members.
• Promote a positive and welcoming environment through friendly and respectful interactions.
• Follow established procedures and schedules to ensure consistency in daily operations.
• Report observations, concerns, or unusual activity to the appropriate team members for follow-up.
