Qualifications

• Graduation from Grammar School or its equivalent.
• Must pass a complete medical examination prior to appointment.
• Ability to deal with the general public and control children;
• Ability to work under adverse weather conditions;
• Tact, courtesy, favorable appearance; good physical condition.

Responsibilities

• Controls vehicular and pedestrian traffic at a school crossing.
• Observes and notes traffic violations of motorists while on crossing duty.
• Prepares reports of accidents occurring on the post.
• Prepares daily reports as may be required from time to time
• Deals with children and the general public.
