Job summary

City of Largo seeks a part-time Crossing Guard to help children safely travel to and from school. Assignments align with opening, recess and dismissal times; reports to an assigned supervisor. Work is 100% outside, rain or shine, with training leading to a Crossing Guard Certificate.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and must complete Crossing Guard Training. The role includes emergency response duties and strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of traffic regulations.
• Ability and willingness to work outside in inclement weather.
• Willingness to work with children, parents, and community in a courteous and tactful manner.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
