Tacoma Public Schools is seeking a crossing guard to monitor elementary student crosswalks and assist with safe street crossing. The role involves standing at designated crosswalks, signaling traffic with a flag, and ensuring student safety during arrival and departure periods.
Hours are limited by the building administrator, up to a maximum of 2 hours per day, with possible split shifts before and after school. Training in district procedures is highly desirable for this position.
