The 7th Precinct is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of School Crossing Guard Level II, Supervisor. This position will be responsible for supervising all school crossing guards assigned to the 7th Precinct, monitoring attendance, work assignments, and schedules for school crossing guards. The selected candidate will also be responsible for transporting crossing guards to and from uncovered posts, preparing reports, forms, memos, lists, cards, and conducting training and evaluations of school crossing guards. Must be capable of performing required tours and duties within the assigned borough.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday (2nd Platoon)

PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License
- Recommendation from Commanding Officer to Level II position
- Above standards rating from last 2 performance evaluations
- Exemplary sick record
- Exemplary discipline record
- Knowledge of Excel and Word.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT:
New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County. To determine if the residency requirement applies to you, please discuss with the agency representative at the time of the interview.
