Job summary

Dysart Middle School - El Mirage, AZ is hiring a 26/27 SY School Aide/Crossing Guard. The role reports to the Principal and supports cafeteria, playground, and front-office tasks while ensuring student safety crossing streets.

The position is 0.875 FTE with a 195-work day calendar, and requires a high school diploma or GED plus experience with children. Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in cafeteria and on playground.
• Provide front office support and answer telephone.
• Assist children crossing streets at assigned times/locations.
• Maintain safety and ethical standards.
• Learn and follow state laws and procedures for school crossings.
• Maintain district equipment and report safety infractions.
