The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is seeking a School Crossing Guard to help keep children safe at street crossings near schools and to curb traffic flow as students enter and leave busy roadways.
This is a Seasonal Part-Time position based on the school calendar with scheduling flexibility for delayed openings and early dismissals. Candidates must be at least 18, have a HS diploma or GED, and hold a valid Florida Driver's License. Training and recertification are required.
This individual is responsible for ensuring the safety of children at street crossings near schools and for interrupting the flow of traffic to assist students in safely and expeditiously entering or leaving busy highways.
