IDEA Public Schools is hiring a School Counselor to lead the campus family engagement vision, social-emotional learning programs, and coordination of mental health and counseling supports for all scholars. The role emphasizes authentic relationships with students and families, data-driven planning, and campus-wide accountability.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field required.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
• Valid TX School Counselor certification or counseling/social work licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Leads the campus family engagement vision and SEL program to support scholars.
• Directs and holds campus team members accountable for family engagement and student persistence.
• Plans and executes student and family engagement events aligned to campus culture.
• Manages campus persistence data with the PEIMS team for accurate reporting.
• Leads professional development on family engagement and campus strategies.
• Coordinates interventions for at-risk students with campus teams.
