Job summary

Atlantic Group is seeking a School Counselor (LCSW/LMHC) to join our client’s school-based counseling program in Brooklyn, NY. The role supports students across multiple NYC districts based on assignment.

Qualified candidates must hold an active New York State LCSW or LMHC license and will provide counseling aligned with IEP goals and student support plans. The School Counselor will deliver individual and group sessions, assist students with coping strategies, and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Active New York State LCSW or LMHC license is required.
• New York State School Counselor certification is preferred.
• Prior school-based counseling or mental health experience is preferred.

This position is available across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island based on preference. Qualified candidates must hold an active New York State LCSW or LMHC license and will provide individual and group counseling aligned with IEP goals and student support plans.
