ACCEL Schools seeks a School Counselor to support student success in a virtual setting, partnering with staff and families to inform academic, graduation, and career planning. Travel within Missouri for testing and events is required.
The role requires a Missouri School Counselor license, a bachelor’s degree with experience or equivalent, and familiarity with ASCA model and K-12 online learning. Proficiency in Office/Google Suite and confidentiality are essential.
The School Counselor supports overall student success by partnering with staff members and families to inform student specific academic programming, create and maintain graduation and career plans, and provide proactive and preventative services. Please note – while this is an online school position and all instruction occurs virtually, travel and face to face attendance will be required several times per year to support in person state testing and student events.
