Job summary

Lodi Unified School District is seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of capital outlay projects for school facilities. The role serves as the main link between contractors, architects, consultants, and district personnel.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance with building codes, safety rules, and district standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, construction law, and bid requirements.
• Understanding of building construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction contracts and specifications.
• Familiarity with district operations and local government permit processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project; CAD skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Serve as primary contact for contractors, architects, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical information related to building or remodel designs.
• Maintain project records and reports; ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
