Job summary

Jacksonville North Pulaski School District is seeking a Cafeteria Worker to join the Building Level team in Jacksonville, Arkansas. The role supports meal preparation, serving, cleaning, and food-service operations under the Cafeteria Manager, with a contract for the 2024-25 school year and a starting date of immediately.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of related experience or training; probationary guidelines apply for substitutes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of meals.
• Assists in the serving of meals.
• Assists in the cleaning and after-meal preparations.
• Works together to ensure a good relationship with all fellow employees.
• Assists in food service operations when and where needed, including, but not limited to banquets, special events and emergencies.
• Assist in the disposal and storage of food.
• Responds to after-hour emergencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
