Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Arrange setup for food items, supplies, serving lines, and equipment for travel or on-site sites.
• Clean utensils, equipment, and prep/serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Collect payments for meals from students and staff.
• Evaluate prepared food for flavor, appearance and temperature for serving.
• Inspect food items and supplies for quantity and quality per health standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel and student information as required.
• Monitor data for accuracy before entering into the district accounting system.
• Monitor inventory to ensure availability of items.
• Prepare and serve food according to approved recipes to meet nutritional requirements.
• Report equipment malfunctions for timely repairs.
• Respond to inquiries from students, staff, or parents about meals and costs.
• Review students' food choices to ensure nutrition requirements are met.
• Stock food, condiments and supplies to maintain adequate quantities.
• Verify quantity and quality of food prepared and records for inventory control.
