Job summary

Falmouth Public Schools in Falmouth, MA, is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join the school cafeteria team at Falmouth High School. The role is full-time for 10 months per year, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM, during the 2026-2027 school year.

The position involves dishwashing, cleaning of kitchen and dining areas, assisting with salads, sandwiches and juice, and supporting other kitchen staff. Salary is based on the Food Service contract.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or related experience in Food Service preferred
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, silver and other items used in serving food
• Clean kitchen, serving, storage and dining areas
• Assist in routine food preparation such as salads, sandwiches, juice preparation, etc.
• Assist other kitchen personnel where needed
• Perform such other tasks as may from time to time be assigned by the Food Service Director or Food Service Leader/Manager
