Coffee County School System is seeking a Food Service Employee (full or part-time) to prepare, cook, and serve meals for students and staff in a school environment. You will follow standardized recipes, manage FIFO inventory, replenish serving lines, and maintain clean kitchen areas and production records.

The role emphasizes customer service, a safe cafeteria environment, and adherence to federal/state laws and district procedures, including HACCP and Offer vs. Serve guidelines.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to adjust to varying tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares, cooks, and serves breakfast and lunch meals to students and staff.
• Follows standardized recipes.
• Follows FIFO inventory method.
• Replenishes serving lines when needed.
• Stocks inventory.
• Washes dishes.
• Cleans kitchen area and cafeteria tables.
• Maintains production records.
• Demonstrates positive customer service skills.
• Maintains a positive, safe, and peaceful environment in the cafeteria.
• Implements knowledge of HACCP.
• Implements knowledge of Offer vs. Serve.
• Follows Federal and State Laws and adopted policies and procedures in accordance with School Board priorities.
• Conducts oneself in the best interest of students, in accordance with the highest standards of public education and in support of the District's Vision/Mission.
