Chartwells K12 is hiring for a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER in El Segundo, CA. Shifts run Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm. Prior food service experience is preferred. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, with an internal referral bonus available.

Responsibilities include food prep, food safety, portion control, and serving customers with a friendly, efficient approach. Benefits are offered to eligible associates in a comprehensive program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weights and measures designated ingredients.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Follows approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner with standard service steps.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports to supervisor.
