Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food according to planned menus and tested recipes.
• Serve meals according to schedules and school policies.
• Promote portion control and manage leftovers safely.
• Supervise storage and handling of food items; keep area organized.
• Operate kitchen tools and equipment following safety standards.
• Follow cleanliness and health/safety procedures.
• Keep waste containers and areas clean and sanitary.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain personal hygiene and appearance.
• Handle and record cashier functions accurately.
• Record food requisitions and orders for supplies.
• Maintain daily food prep records.
• Encourage teamwork and positive staff interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
