Job summary

Compass Group USA's Chartwells K-12 division is hiring a Food Service Worker/Cashier to support dining services at West Allis School District. The role covers cashiering duties, basic food service tasks, and ensuring smooth service.

You will work full-time or part-time, with flexible schedules, and a pay rate of $12.00 to $14.00 per hour. Prior food service, customer service and cash handling experience is required.

Qualifications

• Previous food service, customer service, and cash handling experience required.
• Ability to perform prep work and follow safety standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills to serve customers efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations while following safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Enters sales into the cash register and handles payments accurately.
