Compass Group USA's Chartwells K-12 division is hiring a Food Service Worker for Cherokee Charter Academy in Gaffney, SC. We offer immediate full-time and part-time positions with a fixed pay rate of $14.00 per hour.

Job duties include food preparation, serving customers, maintaining safety and sanitation, and following production standards. Benefits and opportunities for growth are available within the Chartwells K-12 program.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Washes, peels, cuts and seedes fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating and safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portions.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
