Job summary

Pomptonian Food Services is seeking a Cook for West Essex High School to prepare and serve high-quality meals while adhering to nutritional guidelines. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and consistent sanitation in a school cafeteria environment.

You will follow approved recipes, maintain production records, and participate in ongoing training to meet Professional Standards and keep food safety at the highest level.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping; lifting 25–50 pounds.
• Experience with cafeteria equipment (warmer, fryer, slicer, grill, POS).
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow policies.

Responsibilities
