Chartwells K-12 is hiring a full-time Cook for the Airport Community Schools location in Carleton, MI. The shift runs 6:00 am to 1:30 pm, with online applications accepted only. Prior cooking experience is preferred and there is a willingness to train.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring proper serving temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of food, equipment and storerooms in accordance with safety procedures.
• Follows HACCP standards and assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
