Job summary

Christian County Schools seeks a school cafeteria worker at Crofton Elementary School to prepare, cook, bake, and serve meals in quantity each day. You will assist with food preparation, keep facilities clean and sanitary, and help train and direct other staff as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of the certified school food personnel training, and successful background and health checks as required by district policy. This position is onsite at the school.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must complete training course for certification of beginning school food personnel as prescribed in 702 KAR 6:045
• Must meet the requirements for a criminal record check as specified by Kentucky state law
• Must meet health requirements as specified in district personnel policy

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, bake, and serve foods in quantity at an assigned school site.
• Assist in other food preparation duties as directed.
• Maintain facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Train and provide work direction to others.
