Qualifications

• Knowledge of preparing sandwiches, salads, desserts and related items.
• Sanitation principles for food serving and kitchen maintenance.
• Familiarity with basic kitchen utensils and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vegetables, fruits and other foods for cooking; prepare salads, desserts, sandwiches and beverages.
• May assist in main dishes or baking pastries and breads.
• Set up serving, and serve lunches and snacks to students and staff.
• Collect money and make change for meals and snacks.
• Clean and store dishes, equipment, and food supplies; maintain sanitary areas.
• Assist with packing and loading food for transport between facilities.
• Prepare change boxes and record inventory and orders.
