Wayzata Public Schools’ Wayzata Cafés is seeking a part-time Assistant at Wayzata High School to plan, prepare, and serve meals in a fast-paced school cafeteria. Hours are 6.0 per day (approx. 8:30am - 2:30pm) with a starting wage of $24.18/hour.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in an institutional kitchen is required.
• Experience with quantity food production is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains knowledge of District policies and procedures.
• Confers with the supervisor to understand work priorities and information.
• Maintains cooperative, productive workplace relationships.
• Performs food preparation and related duties per schedules and procedures.
• Performs duties for planned meals for events.
• Attends in-service training to stay current on policies and procedures.
• Keeps supervisor informed of important matters to minimize downtime or safety problems.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
