Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the preparation of school lunches.
• Be clean, neat and over 18 years of age.
• Ability to organize and carry out lunchroom procedures.
• Have professional tact, diplomacy and presentation with administrators, staff, teachers, students, parents and the community.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious and attractive meals.
• Assist with meal production as directed.
• Maintain and apply all safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards across all food service areas.
• Operate production and dishwashing equipment.
• Receive, stock and inventory food and supplies.
• Compile and maintain appropriate records for federal, state and local regulations and reports.
• Public relations as necessary.
• Coordinate meal production in absence of Kitchen Supervisor.
• Meet and service the needs of clientele in a timely fashion and in a pleasant and appropriate manner.
