Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a District Cafeteria Food Service Worker for the Perrysburg Exempted Village School District. The role supports food preparation, serving and clean-up in multiple buildings during a 4-hour shift from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, 184 school days per year.

The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work with students and staff. An understanding of cash registers and basic computer skills is helpful.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in the preparation of school lunches.
• Be clean, neat and over 18 years of age.
• Ability to organize and carry out lunchroom procedures.
• Professional tact, diplomacy and presentation with administrators, staff, teachers, students and community.
• Conscientious and assumes responsibility for own work performance.
• Good health, high moral character and good attendance record.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and a sincere desire to aid all students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation serving and general clean including dishwashing.
• Must have basic computer skills and run computerized cash register systems.
• Prepare and serve nutritious and attractive meals.
• Assist with meal production as directed.
• Maintain and apply safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards.
• Operate production equipment and dishwashing equipment.
• Receive, stock and inventory food and supplies.
• Transport food and supplies and cash bags/boxes when necessary.
