Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in High School
• Read and write English as it pertains to job functions
• Food Handler’s Certificate or obtain within 30 days of hire
• Two letters of recommendation from a coach or teacher

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stock & maintain serving line area and assist in food preparation and clean up
• Identify a reimbursable meal on the serving line
• Set up serving line with equipment, utensils, and safety measures
• Prepare and cook food according to safety regulations per county/state guidelines and HACCP
• Wash dishes and equipment per health department guidelines
• Clean work areas and dispose of garbage as assigned
• Maintain product quality through visual inspection and adherence to serving guidelines
• Provide courteous service to students, staff, and community
