Job summary

Young World Physical Education is hiring for the role of Bus Monitor/Safety Assistant/Substitute in Hillsborough, North Carolina. The position is part-time, requiring 4 to 6 hours per day on a Monday to Friday schedule.

The Safety Assistant supervises exceptional students on buses, ensuring their safety and well-being. Candidates should have a GED or high school diploma and knowledge of student safety regulations. A Class A or B CDL License with appropriate endorsements is essential. Experience with special needs students is also advantageous.

Qualifications

• Skills in lifting and using special equipment are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of students on the bus.
• Provide medical and emergency assistance as needed.
