Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in school bus driving is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and basic mechanical tasks.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

• Ability to write reports and maintain records.
• Experience with childcare or working with children is an advantage.
• Ability to pass background checks as required by policies.

School Bus Route Driver Job Overview ISD 550 Underwood, MN We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Route Driver to join our team.

Duties

• Safely operate a vehicle along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist passengers, including children and those with disabilities, during boarding and disembarking.
• Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, and any incidents that occur during the route.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or passenger needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Requirements
