Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; background check; meet WV code requirements.
• Valid CDL license with passenger and school bus endorsements; good driving record.
• Must obtain WV School Bus Safety Program and pass tests.
• Must be at least 21 years old; three years driving experience; CPR/First Aid.
• Must pass physical exam and drug/alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Learn route, pickup and drop-off locations.
• Safely transport students to and from school daily.
• Maintain orderly bus environment and report misconduct or issues.
• Prepare monthly transportation reports on mileage, maintenance, and ridership.
