School Bus Operator — Safe Student Transport

Job summary

Fremont County School District 14 is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students and staff on designated routes and field trips. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, maintain discipline, and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs in a responsible, safety-focused manner.

The role requires a valid CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to follow district policies. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid DMV Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
• Current CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsement.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Successful prior experience as a school bus driver.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school bus on routes on school days and on field trips.
• Transports students, teachers and others to and from locations.
• Conducts pre-trip inspections to ensure bus is safe and clean.
• Maintains order and discipline among students per district policies.
• Records route timing, incidents, and completes required documentation.
• Evacuates passengers in emergencies following procedures.
