Job summary

The role reports to the Transportation Supervisor and involves 255 days of work at 8 hours per day, with some overtime during the school year. Required: High School Diploma or GED and Arkansas CDL Class B with Passenger, Air Brake, and S Endorsements. Three years of mechanic experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional behavior and represent the district.
• Perform mechanical repairs for safety and reliability of buses and vehicles.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buses.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and service logs.
• Operate buses and other vehicles as needed for maintenance.
