Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a qualified maintenance technician to diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment at our NY location. You will liaise with clients and drivers to determine needs, perform routine inspections, and prepare quotes, while maintaining accurate logs of all work. One year of mechanic experience and a high school diploma are required. Shift is 5:30am–2pm, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliable service for our school buses and mobility fleet.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicles and/or machinery to diagnose and repair issues.
• Liaise with clients and drivers to determine automotive requirements and communicate defects.
• Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of issues.
• Prepare quotes and work estimates as requested.
• Keep an accurate log of all work performed.
• Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure safety and usability.
• Adhere to company work safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
