Job summary

Alltown Bus Service and Beacon Mobility in the Chicago area seek a qualified Mechanic to diagnose and repair a variety of motor vehicles, with a focus on buses and fleet maintenance. You will discuss concerns with operators and perform routine maintenance to keep vehicles safe and reliable.

A Mechanic is responsible for investigating problems with different types of motor vehicles and making repairs accordingly. Their duties include communicating with vehicle operators to discuss their concerns, carrying out routine maintenance procedures on motor vehicles and replacing parts on motor vehicles to promote their functionality.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift

Responsibility Profile:

• Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues.

• Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of any issues.

Pay range: $25-$37/hour depending on experience.
