Job summary

GoldStar Transit is seeking a bus driver to operate a van or bus on designated routes, transporting school pupils or clients. The role includes ensuring safety, performing inspections, and maintaining order on board.

Eligible candidates may receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus for CDL-licensed bus drivers with School Bus and Passenger endorsements, plus paid training for those without school bus experience.

Qualifications

• 21+ years or older.
• Clean driving record with at least three years of personal driving experience.
• DOT and background check.

Responsibilities

• Drive a bus daily over designated routes following time schedules.
• Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain order and discipline among pupils or clients.
• Record route timing, stops, and vehicle conditions as required.
• Sweep, clean and refuel buses and report mechanical issues promptly.
