The role includes classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training, ongoing driver evaluations, and managing the company drug/alcohol testing programs in collaboration with the corporate office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a school bus driver.
• Possess all valid applicable state licenses and other required certifications to operate company vehicles.
• Possess all valid applicable state licenses and other required certifications to train and evaluate school bus drivers.
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations related to student transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus on designated routes.

• Assume primary responsibility in responding to personal injury and vehicle accidents by on-scene investigation and preparing and submitting reports to the corporate office in accordance with Company policy.
• Investigate customer service complaints relative to safety issues and take appropriate corrective action.
